ZenPet Privacy Policy

Eudaimonia Partners G.K. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is deeply committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how ZenPet (the "App") handles your information.

1. 100% On-Device Processing (Zero Data Collection)

ZenPet is designed with "Privacy by Design" at its core. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your personal information, chat histories, or interactions.

  • All AI processing, chat generation, and crisis detection are performed entirely locally on your device (On-Device AI).
  • The App does not contain any third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics software development kits (SDKs).

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a personalized and continuous experience, the App saves the following data strictly within the local storage of your device:

  • Chat History: Logs of your conversations with the AI spirit. This data is automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Memories: Short summaries of your recent conversations. These are kept on your device and overwritten as new summaries are generated, rather than deleted on a fixed schedule.
  • Display Names & Settings: Your chosen nickname (which is optional), the spirit's name, and app preferences (such as volume and BGM settings).
  • If you delete the ZenPet app from your device, all of this locally stored data will be permanently erased.

3. Location Information

We do not track your GPS location. The App simply checks your device's general regional setting (e.g., US, Japan) completely offline to display the correct local emergency contact numbers (such as 988 or 112) when necessary.

4. Apple Crash Logs

While we do not collect crash data directly, Apple may collect anonymized diagnostic and usage data if you have opted-in to share such information with developers via your iOS device settings. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

5. Children's Privacy

ZenPet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.

6. Relationship to Our Website Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the ZenPet App. In the event of any conflict between this policy and the general Eudaimonia Partners G.K. website privacy policy, this ZenPet Privacy Policy shall prevail regarding your use of the App.
