ZenPet Terms of Service

ZenPet is designed to provide mindfulness, relaxation, and emotional companionship as a digital wellness application. ZenPet is strictly NOT a medical device, nor does it provide medical diagnosis, treatment, cure, or professional psychological therapy. The interactions provided by the AI within ZenPet are for general well-being and entertainment purposes only and should never be used as a substitute for professional healthcare.

The chat features of the App require a compatible device with the operating system's on-device AI capability enabled, and the successful initial download of AI model files. If your device does not support this capability, or cannot complete this download due to network connectivity or storage limitations, the chat features will remain entirely unavailable.

The App requires an initial download of approximately 2GB for its AI models. You are solely responsible for any data charges, internet connection fees, or device storage requirements associated with this download.

ZenPet utilizes on-device AI technology to assist in detecting potential signs of emotional crisis. However, this feature operates strictly on a "best effort" basis. The AI is not guaranteed to detect 100% of crisis situations, nor is it immune to misinterpretations or false alerts.

By using ZenPet, you acknowledge that the app relies on probabilistic AI models and must never be considered a foolproof safety monitor or a substitute for professional human intervention.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe psychological distress, or having thoughts of self-harm, please stop using the App immediately and contact your local emergency services (such as dialing 911, 988, 112, or 119) or a qualified healthcare professional.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have the consent of your parent or legal guardian. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the App by, any third party.

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.

All intellectual property rights in the App, including original designs, characters, and content, belong to Eudaimonia Partners G.K. The App utilizes certain open-source software and third-party AI models. Your use of the App is also subject to the respective open-source licenses and acceptable use policies provided within the App's "Settings" or "Legal" sections.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eudaimonia Partners G.K. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the App, your reliance on the AI interactions, or the App's failure to detect an emotional crisis.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
